Default digging holes

If you want your dog to stop digging holes, everytime he digs one fill it with dog poop, then cover with dirt if theres any left around the hole , we had to use topsoil, cuz the dirt was in the grass, it works! then if you can create an area in your yard just for the dog to dig, we picked a dirt area that used to be garden, and buried some toys there so now they have been only digging in the designated spot. Good Luck!!

You are not chalangeing your dog, a walk is not enough. I recomend that you find a Obedience school near you and get him an education. Walking him may keep him occupied for the durration of the walk, but if his mind isn't getting a work out he is still bored. The fact that he doesn't come to you is proof that you have a lot to work on. He thinks that he is going to get in trouble for digging, rule #1 of the recall is NEVER punish your dog after they come to you. Work on his obedience when you are on walks and a few other times a day for 10-15 min and you will see less hols in your yard. Good Luck, FFL

I think he smell something that's why he keeps on digging a hole. Expose your dog let him play with other dog. It may help him forget to dig a hole. Train your dog and make him busy.
