Default ANY EXPERIENCE WITH DOG WHEELS

My nearly 15 year old German Shepherd mix is experiencing neurological deterioration affecting his legs. The vet suggests full-time use of wheels, with his hind feet in a sling. Does anyone have experience with this? The cost of the wheels is pretty much, especially if it doesn't work well. I thought they might be used on walks, but the vet said, no, full time. Please let me know your dogs reaction to this, positive or negative. Also where did you get the wheels? Thanks so much. Our dog's name is Mojo, a male, and he's 3/4 Germ. Shep. 1/4 Pit Bull. His head is GS. thanks for whatever advice you can give. Linda

I don't know how much help this will be, but we looked into it for our siberian husky 3 yrs ago, we never ended up getting one. She has since passed on. Here are some sites.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!

Thanks, Olympia. I'll take a look at these sites. I wonder if one can get these wheels used. Why do I think this is a large dog problem. Maybe not. Thanks again. Linda
