Default I Need Some Advice.

Hello, everyone. My dog passed away back in April, and I've been wanting to get a new one. I don't have a lot of money, and my parents are specific about what they'll let me have.

I have a five-year-old sister who would be intimidated by a larger dog, especially if it jumps/is very playful. They're also skeptical about allowing me to have an inside dog, because it might use the bathroom inside. :?

Any advice on what type of dog would best fit my situation?

All suggestions are appreciated.

Good news, everyone. After a trip to the local animal shelter, my mother found a group of puppies that she was interested in. The puppies are only four to five weeks old, and they won't be ready for adoption until next Friday, the fourth.

The puppies are some sort of mix, the workers at the shelter weren't even quite sure what they were. The mother was a medium-sized dog, which might make one of the puppies possible to keep inside, but I'm not about to make my dad angry at me by asking if I can keep my new puppy (which he is hesitant about me getting in the first place) inside.

I'll post a picture later if possible.

that is good. How old are you? would it be your dog? If so then make sure your parents can take care of it while you are at school. If not then I hope your whole family will enjoy its company. Congrats

You are really lucky to get the puppy so fast. Lets hope you manage to give it a good home; I mean your own. And dont worry much about your dad, as even my dad never really supported bringing any pets in the house. But then we would just sneak it into the house and then after seeing such cute small creatures its hard for someone to really part with it. Even dads have a heart after all. So go ahead and think about how you are going to sneak the puppy in your house.
PS. Get your sister involved and she will do a splendid job. Small sisters can be quite obsessive and useful in this respect.
