Default Pup at home during school...

hey im having a bit of a problem...

i have a 12 week old puppy and she'll need to stay home while im at school...is that a reaaally bad thing for a dog? We cant affor a dog walker or sitter, and my mom cant come home everyday during lunch..will being alone for taht long affect her?

also, should i put her in a pen where she can go to the bathroom or a cage with no room?

orr should i leave her in the kitchen..where she might have accidents if not housebroken by then?

im really worried about the situation so please reply!!

Hey! Do not worry I will help you out!

First thing you need to crate/cage train her I have a chihuahua half year old so I know exactly.
Get a crate were she can stand up and turn around (not that big though) my chi is potty trained so she does not go in her cage. But I highly doubt that your dog will go potty in its cage either. It is good discapline for her to leave her for 6 or so hours. She will be fine in her crate. TO crate train her you CAN NOT GIVE IN!! If she whines ignore her or she will never learn. Even if there is no one in the house she will be fine. If there is then they can let her out a little and then put her back. I will be going to school soon so I have a couple choices. (I am 15) I have a large cage a small crate and my room. I will probaly put her in the large crate cause she will not pee or poo in it and I can feed and water her plus put in toys. YOu have to crate train her first (small cage) and then when she is potty trained you can put her in a pen or whatever. Believe me I am a proffesioal at this. actually now im htinking of keeping her in the kitchen with some potty pads and toys to keep her busy, i just dont really feel comfortable leaving her in a crate for 7 hours T_T thanks a lot for your reply though!
