How important do you think getting dew claws removed is? And have you had your dogs dew claws removed? I am torn with this one cause I have heard so many different opinions about the subject.
Dew claws can cause problems by catching on clothes and may even rip up that expensive sofa. Removing due claws is not very important, but it is very helpful when the dog gets older. It reduces the amount of nail that needs to be cut. Removing the dew claws by a trained vet is usually bloodless and painless for the dogs.
