Default recommend me a good nail clipper!

i have purchased a few nail clippers in the past..
and they are HORRIBLE.

its made with half metal and half plastic and slides over the dog's claw..and just splinters his nail..

i dont mind buying something online..if it is worth the money and time

any favorites of yours?

Ask the vet for some clippers. That is where I got my dogs' nail clippers. They were the same kind of clippers that the vet used, and naturally they use good products.

Also if your dogs nails are splintering easily then he has some medical problem. It's something you need to speak to your vet about.
What also works well, While on the Subject, Getting his nails grinded. They use a Dremel Type Device, and they can go shorter and its smoother . Some Dogs act better for it as well. Also if you have a NONE Medical problem with the nails splintering, grinding helps.
PetSmart Does it for 10-18 Depending on the Shop. PetCo maybe, and alot of Indy Shops as well. Dont pay more than 20.
I've heard of people being charged upwards of 50 dollars.
