Frontline needs at least 24 hours, but 72 is better. I would imagine they are mostly the same - 24 hours at the very least. Also, you should wait at least 24 hours after a bath before applying them, because it will take a while for them to become totally dry. When the pores are wet the stff doesn't get sucked up as quickly or as well. They should still groom her - I would imagine yours isn't the only dog at the groomers that has fleas! She may have even picked them up there (no tdefinitely, and I'm in no way trying to put down the groomer, but she could have picked them up ANYWHERE). If possible, get her groomed first then but flea control on her, that way you'll be certain it won't get washed off, and many of the fleas will already be gone. You should consider keeping your dog on flea control year-round for the best protection - I don't know where you live, but around here it gets above 45 degrees F often throughout the winter, and at that temperature fleas can hatch and you can start to see some fle problems. Fleas can live indoors year-round as well. Even if your dogs doesn't have fleas to begin with, you can pick them up somewhere else, like a friend's house, and bring them home to your dog, or your dog can pick them up from somewhere.
