make sure you get a dog shampoo. the best way to do it is buy putting your dog in the bath and using a shower this way it doesn't take to long and your dog wont get to unhappy. be warned you will get wet!

Yes, use a special dog shampoo to ensure that you don't irritate its skin. I can't wash my dog in a bath, but since she has a big plastic dog bed I take the covers out of that, put it in the garden, fill it with warm water from a bucket, and stand her in that to wash her with a clean cloth.

Get a good dog shampoo, and put your dog in the tub. It's easiest to use the shower head (to pull it down and stuff), get them wet, shampoo them up, and rinse em off. Don't forget to dry them as well, and just a heads up, you're gonna get really wet doing it!In the warmer seasons you can wash your dog outside in the backyard or whatever.

Hi,I have a sprayer that connects on my tub spigot and you just wet your dog down real well and use a good dog shampoo. I also use conditioner on them. It is winter here so I have to dry them real well here and sometimes use my hair dryer.Mine like to run and dry off and roll on my rugs. Count on getting wet. Make it fun so your pup doesn't get scared of a bath.Watch his ears as you don't want to get water in them Hold them closed when you wet his head or put cotton in them.Good Luck

Bathing a dog should be done no more than once a month otherwise it will be detrimental to his coat and if he is a breed liable to shedding then excess bathing will accentuate this. When using any dog shampoo for the first time use very sparingly in case the dog proves allergic to it. If bathing in your own bath then stand dog on old towel. This will save your bath from scratching and will also stop dog from sliding.Towel off excess water and dry with hair dryer.

And when you can't do the bath thing, I like Fresh and Clean Daily Grooming Spray. You can spray it on dirty spots, and just rub away with a towel. And they smell really nice too!
