Default Cleaning a Dogs ears?

Should we or shouldnt we? I know my ears can get pretty bunged up, but what about the dogs?

Do they need there ears cleaned or are the pefectly fine left alone?

Do they do ear wax drops for dogs? Or what is recomened to use if you should clean your dogs ears?

I normally clean my dog’s ear, especially if I see it dirty, but I don’t clean up to the inner part. I let my VET do it since I might hit something.

You should clean your dog’s ears...especially if your dog has drop ears. My dog is a Lhasa Apso, so he has drop ears. I clean his ears two times a week. I use an ear cleaning solution that I buy from a pet shop. It's pretty cheap. I guess it's around $5. To save, I use cotton buds to apply the solution to his ears. If I don't have the time, I just use the drop the solution to his ears.

I bring my dog to the nearest VET for her check-up. It also includes the cleaning of their ears. Cleaning them regularly helps prevent bad smell. You can also clean it in your own ways as long as your aware the proper cleaning methods.

The best thing to do is to bring your dog to the vet and have him/her do it the first time while you watch so you can do it the next time around. You get to see how to hold the dog, what to use and how to do it properly so you won't run into any accidents.

I clean my dogs ears weekly since they get very dirty. I use a little tissue on my finger and it works fine.

You also have to remove the hair inside your dog's ear. I tried to do this once but I backed out. I got afraid coz I might hurt my doggie. Now, I just bring him to a professional groomer. They remove the hair for me.

I recently bought some dog ear wipes, but am a little afraid to use them on the inside of her ears. We all know that ears are very sensitive, and easy to damage.

I think I will take her to the vet soon, and ask see what the vet has to say.

However, my dogs ears always pop up like radars, so she must be ok at the minute!!!
