Default which hi velocity for home use on under coats

Hi, I have an Akita that I bath usually bath myself. Taking him to the groomer is costly so I feel that buying a dryer to blow out his undercoat is worth the investment. Question is what strength do I really need?

Where I work, we use the Air Force Master Blaster. It's a high-velocity blow dryer with a concentrator nozzle on the end of the hose. It's very powerful, so you need to learn how to handle it a little. It's also fairly loud, and some dogs really don't like it. However, I have never seen anything work quite as well at getting that undercoat out! I did a low-shed treatment on a husky a while back, and it literally blew the undercoat off of her, sending it flying through the air! It's kinda messy to do it like that, but I'm telling you, it works!:-D
