Default Do You Trust Them?

Do you trust those mobile pet grooming vans? I dont because to me it seems like you could drop your dog off, they "say" they are going to start grooming them, but then drive off with your pet in their van. I just dont trust them. I'd rather do it my self or drop them off at Pets Mart. What are your thoughts on this?

those vans cost around $70,000 & usually have the groomers name all over them.

now really - you think someone like that is going to steal your dog?

I used one up until last year, and they are great.I would rather have my dog in a van outside my house than go and leave him somewhere for hours.----Aggy

Personally I think Mobile Groomers can be respectable. It's all about their experience. I'm sure you can learn how experienced they are by talking with them and asking if they have pictures of dog's they've previously groomed. You need to realize, some people (college students or people that have another full time job) just want to make some extra money on the side. This doesn't mean they aren't experienced. As with any groomer, just be careful and do a little research. Another possibilty is that they are building a portfolio to open a real business sometime in the future.
