I'm a groomer. I do mohawks if the owner requests one. I enjoy it, actually. Gives me something different to do. I'll give 'em a dye job, too. I recently put a mohawk on a Shih Tzu that was adorable; spiked it up with a little gel. And I shaved his ears and glued "studs" on them, too. If I'd had any silver nail polish I would have done his nails and made him look like he was wearing spiked boots.

I just cannot understand why anybody would want to do that to their dog, anymore than I can understand why people choose to dye their dogs weird colours. Dogs are beautiful just the way they're made. Why turn them into a fashion accessory?

i do mowhawks on some of the dogs i groom. i use superwashable pens to colour them, you can use chalk too, there very tempory. sometimes i do a tattoo too with the pens.
never thought about gluing studs on the ears though hmmmm

Yah im a dog groomer as well, they are fun to do because its not something you do everyday. I love seeing the face of an owner who gets one for the first time haha they laugh and think its adorable!

well, same things applies to people. some people die their hair pink and have a mohawk too

I secretly want to give Tiffany a pink mohawk sometime. I have some Pet Head pink hair gel...it's temporary and washes right out. Maybe for a special occasion.
