I didn't think people did this until I read up about it. My neighbor wipes her dog (chihuaha) with baby wipes after every single times it goes pee or potty.

yeah, i'd say!! But i haven't done any reading on it. maybe there is some beneficial factors I dont know about. The ONLY time I have wiped my puppy's butt after he's gone #2 is if it were diarrhea and some got left behind. Cause I KNOW he's gonna wanna rub it all over my carpet. Other than that, no! He's a big boy now and can wipe his own butt! :-D

Unless there is a prob as Catorres states I wouldn't do it. I would think it would get irritated. I neer heard of doggie condoms before either so what do I know. :P

The only breed I've heard this about in printed form was the bichon. But, that was from one source, and in printed form. I would think this probably wouldn't be necessary if the dog is kept shaved.

I guess if you think about it though, and you don't want urine on the dog's paws or legs, what other choice is there?

I don't think you should whipe you'r dogs but, because they are not humans.what I do is I let my dogs air dry:-D

my sister in law had to wipe her bull dogs butt everytime he went no. 2s
cause he would always have a bit on him.
i only do mine if they have a runny tum which isnt that often.
