Default Volumizer For Husky Coat

Any groomer recomendations on a volumizer for a Siberian Husky coat? My pup is about 1 month away from her first show and I would like to work with a few products to see what works best for her.

The best one is Chris Christiensen's Thick & Thicker! It comes in 3 forms and I have used all 3...

> the Gel for legs (rub it in, let it dry and back comb to add body)
> the solution (for body) use it like shampoo after you shampoo
> the Mist is great for touch ups at the show

You can also use Bio-Groom "Souper Foam"

It's important to remember that breeds like Huskies are shown with full undercoat. This is not a time to do anything that will shed the undercoat out. At all. A lot of handlers will pack the undercoat with chalk to make it even fuller. That's tricky for someone who hasn't done it before.

Don't over bathe before showing. It removes too much coat.

Thick and Thicker is a great product. So is Davis Fluff Out. And one of the best you can get is Crown Royal. If you don't have access to any of those products, here's an old Poodle handlers trick. KY jelly. Bathe the dog, then apply a good amount of jelly to the coat, working it in as the dog dries. You can also dilute it in a spray bottle with distilled water for quick touch ups.

Pure paws just came out with a volumizing mousse and a full line of chalks that will help thinken and volumize the coat. They also have a volumizing spray gel that handlers are actually watering down a bit and spraying into the coat to add volume. You can see that being down to this Black Russian in this video:
