Geez!! Now the laugh is on me!--I thought I was addressing the original poster--who posted all of 5 months ago!! Well, fbull66--You prob don't have the same breed--Border Terrier, so guess you can ignore comments on that breed but some of the rest of my post may be of interest! What kind of dog do you have---Does it have a double coat? Does fbull by chance stand for French Bulldog?

Dyson makes a nice vaccume ...... thyroide may be an issue so you could chech with your vet on that one and dailly brushing should take care of most of the hair, plus it gives you and your puppy bonding time together.... win win

You want to talk about shedding and blowing coat?Try owning an Akita!...I've found that brushing every day and feeding a high quality food with lots of fish oil and no corn or wheat helps quite a lot...

You never did say what food you feed...The lower the quality the more shedding and not to insult you but when you have a dog and you love that dog you need to just take it in stride that it comes with the territory!
