Default The best clippers to buy.

HI, I have a 2 year old Maltese and now have a Shih Tzu puppy, I have always taken my Malt to the Groomers to be clipped but now I have the 2 dogs I would like to start clipping them myself, can anyone recommend a good quality brand of clippers, my Maltese's hair is very thick and I'm sure I will need a very good quality brand.

When I had my poodle, I used Walt brand.

Are you talking about clipping the nails or the fur?

The Fur, I have been doing lots of research and so far the Wahl and the Andis both sound like good brands.

Default clippers

Hi have been using Oster A5 golden clippers ( the one speed) for five years. They are a nice clipper. Make sure to research the proper way to clip your dogs so you dont cut them my mistake.

Default Hope this helps

Hi,

I just wanted to recommend a pair that I received for Christmas. My partner bought me the Andis PM 1 dog clippers as I've always wanted to groom my Cocker and these are good starter clippers. I have to say they are excellent and really easy to use, thoroughly recommend.
Now I've seen that the site (called Groomers, although I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention it...sorry if not) they're from are running a competition to win a pair, so if you're interested I'd thoroughly recommend entering.

Hope this helps

Please let us know the outcome.

Oh really, I've never heard of those. Can I ask what's good about them? I might get some when I take a step up.
