Default Grooming a puli

Hi I have a 18 week old hungarian puli and would really love some help/advice on grooming. I had done as much reading as I can and have looked at some other forums. I am swaying towards keeping the coat brushed out but would really love to hear from anyone who has done this. I have tried ringing round local dog groomers but none of them have dealt with this breed and are not that keen to take her on.

Any help on this would be greatly received!

Thanks

There is a lady that lives in Ohio that breeds Pulis. I used to live down the street from her. I'll find her name and number for you if I can. Not sure if she still breeds them. If I can't find the name and number, there should be a Puli club that has an online site. They would have grooming on their website. And if all else fails, find someone who owns Kommondors. The hair style is similar.

Default Brushing out a puli

Hello,

I don't yet own a puli but I know someone who owns one that I fell in love with. I really want to get one but I also am wondering about what it would be like to keep him brushed out. It seems to be difficult to find info or even pictures of them brushed out and the effort it would require. Hopefully, someone can give some advice..

Most of the people I know who have them go through the coat and seperate the cords by hand.

Have you contacted the Puli Club of America?

I think the best person to be asking this question would be your breeder.
