Does anyone own this dog comb? I have recently been trying to purchase one off of ebay but the price keeps getting up into the $30 to $40 range. Anyone who owns one or knows someone who does I'm curious if it is worth the money? Its been hot and my poor dog is looking shaggy.

Have you got a picture you can show us?

As I've never heard of this comb & would be interested to see what it actually looks like espcially if it costs about $30-$40 lol

Well here is the link to the most recent one off ebay we were bidding on, this one is over with: eBay: FURminator deShedding tool for dogs and cats Medium NR (item 130018039439 end time Aug-20-06 06:29:21 PDT) Looks pretty interesting and if it really works well i wouldn't mind putting up the money for it.

just got one for £17 on ebay....I hope it works as well as the video shows it. With 6 moulting Sibes it will be a big help.

Have you tried a zoomgroom on your Staffie? It works really well on the huskies guard hairs but doesn't bring out the undercoat. It works well on short hair...I've heard of some peole using it on horses too.

I have never heard of the zoomgroom lol care to post some pictures? So what does it exactly do? Or give me a link to a site which has more information about it so I can read up.

To be honest I've never looked into 'grooming' products before the Furminator was listed here!

And hey did your price include p&p? Dam you got it cheaper lol!

Hi
I goom dog in Dublin and have a few of these, which I got of ebay, I use it on my lab, but think it is the kind of thing you need to use all the time, as she sheds like crazy and does not seem to make much of a difference, it does however remove a lot of coat, if you have a collie or something like that, it probably works great, I know a lot of groomers that think its great and others that say now way. if you brush you dog with a regular slicker brush that removes a lot of dead hair.
hope this help
Ann

I ordered it off of QVC. It worked wonders. It took out so much hair off of my dog. Unfortunately it broke in two a few weeks later. I will order another one shortly.
