the left side of his belly is swollen. He has trouble walking. when you lightly touch him there he has a lot of pain. I did however take him to the vet and they gave me medication for him to take daily. im starting to run low, and he still has this large bloat on his side. in the mornings he can barely get up, around night he is a lot healthier then usual, he can almost run. he has a fever as well. does anyone have any ideas what he has?

Well, I would say: " Do you give him the meds at night?" Because the meds could be in effect when he's felling better.... Then when the meds withdrawl, he starts felling bad again....

I would definetly go see another vet.... Get another opinion because abviously the meds he's on aren't working... There just mascking the pain...

Plus it might be something very serious... Infection or even worst...

Don't let this sit around.....
