When is the best time to change your puppy from puppy food to adult dog food?

When they reach one year already

It depends on the breed size.Most large breed dogs are not fed Puppy food while growing up.Mine are on adult by the age of 8 weeks.
You do not want large breed dogs to grow too fast.
Smaller breeds can stay on puppy for a year.
