Default Bad Breath

Brandi has the worst breath of any dog I've ever had. I brush her teefies as often as I can and her teeth aren't tartar covered. I'm wondering if it's not her food that's doing it. Man it's like she's got garbage mouth. She's not much of a chewer but does like her greenies and I do give them once a day as well as the brushing. I'd like to get her off the lamb and rice foods she's eating and on to something else to see if it is her food but I'm very limited as to what I can feed her. She did smell better when she was eating the raw chicken wings but then the other end didn't cooperate (terrible diahrrea) so I'm not sure what my next step is. These so called designer dog foods aren't available to me here or at home so I can't feed them. I'm almost tempted to go back to feeding home cooked but I am somewhat concerned about her nutrition balances (because of her propensity toward displaysia)

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

some times changeing there diet can help the bad breath problem, also there are some bones u can get that are good for their teeth/mouth/breath
Thankfully my dog has the cleanest mouth i have ever seen on a dog, i don't know how he has such nice smelling breath for a dog, we got him when we was 10 or 11months, and hes like going on 13 months now, but his teeth are very clean and his mouth too!, he just eats Pedigree healthy viality and has a Denta bone now and then, and these other pedigree treats with real bone marrow! im not changing any of his diet though, he's breath is to nice lol!

i hope you find a solution for your doggy soon!

Default Greenies

I recently read a big article on GREENIES...those little green bones declared to clean dogs teeth effectively. They don't digest at all. Not even a little bit. They are the worst things to give dogs. Dogs will eat them in chunks and many have died from choking on them. Also intestinal blockage has happend after eating these nasty things.... Too look at the package, they look like a really cool thing to give your dog and clean his/her teeth at the same time!! BUT DON"T USE THEM!!
