Amazingly enough, Atty's cough REALLY got better in the last few days until Sunday night. Her cough came back full force and horrible. I took her to the vet yesterday morning. They did a chest Xray which showed a bad case of bronchitis. So she's being treated for that and is already feeling better today. As far as the cough goes, it might be asthma and/or a collapsed trachea but since she was so sick, they have to treat the infection before anything else. Thankfully, they gave me the "dogs" version of Mucinex and Robitussin and she's much better now.

Just wanted to let everyone know. I wonder if she had bronchitis before and the antibiotics didn't take care of it totally and yesterday was a relapse?? Happens all the time in humans....

Glad to see your dog is starting to feel better and you are finding out what was wrong with her! hope things continue to improve
