No. You should call your vet, but I don't think you should.

Only if you want to kill them, too much paracetamol causes irreversible liver failure.

I would not try that because it cures human ailments and is not meant for other anatomies. So don't do it unless somehow a licensed vet says it's okay, because the dog might die a horrible suffering death.

aspirin is ok, but you have to know the EXACT dosage to give...one regular pill can kill a 10 lb. dog.Tylenol and Advil is NOT ok to give to dogs, they contain other ingredients other than aspirin. You should really consult a vet before giving this, you could easily kill your dog if you're not sure what you're doing.

No Tylenol or Advil. Ibuprofen is dangerous for dogs. My vet told me to give my dogs baby aspirin. I give my lab a whole one, but I only give a half of one to my min-pin.

Dogs are different than people. Try looking up on the internet--under dogs having pain. Tomorrow- call your vet.

No Tylenol or Advil. Baby aspirin is okay. Give one half tablet per 10 lbs weight. I gave my old girl aspirin for her arthritis. The vet told me to. Don't over do it though. Once every 4 to 6 hours only, and only for a short time, unless the vet tells you otherwise. It really should be used only on a temporary basis.

You should get advice from your vet, but here's the advice I got from mine. I have a 100+ pound retriever with hip dysplasia, and I give him one buffered baby asprin (81mg) twice a day for pain. But watch your pet for signs of stomach upset. That's why I choose to use the buffered baby variety, retrievers have weak stomachs to begin with.Avoid Tylenol and Advil.

Please, do not give anything to your dog without talking to your vet. Never, EVER, give Advil or Tylenol to dogs. Advil can cause liver failure and Tylenol is toxic to them. Neither of these are aspirin by the way. Advil is ibuprofen and Tylenol is acetaminophen. Aspirin is what vets will usually prescribe but still, don't give any medicine unless you've talked to the vet first.

Actually Hartz Mountain has enteric coated aspirin for dogs(the package says not for human consumption ?) also not for cats! It's 81 mgs, one tablet per 15 pounds,2 times a day. You can find it in Pet Stores.

My vet recommended ASCRIPTIN for my dog's arthritis pain. Do NOT give Tylenol or Advil. The dosage my vet recommended for the Ascriptin was one tablet per day, the dog's weight is 40 lbs. Ascriptin is "coated" with Maalox to help protect the stomach. You can get it at Walgreen's, no prescription needed.
