Exclamation More recalls...

Right now they are worried about contaminated wheat gluten. But to be safe, everyone should check their foods for both corn and wheat. The fungus that produces Aflatoxin (think Diamond recall last year among others) grows on those crops.

I think these recalls are really waking people up to the fact that most pet foods are not what they should be feeding their pets.

Default Safe Foods Not on the Recall List

I am curious. With so many brands of foods affected by the latest recall, with even more to come, I would like to start a list of safe foods. I do know of some safe brands but not all.

Default A Safe Pet Food Alternative

I've read with sorrow and empathy the myriad of news
articles regarding these pet food recalls. It is indeed a tragedy for
those dogs and cats who have suffered and died and the resulting
trauma for their caretakers.

One aspect of commercial pet food manufacturing not discussed in
light of these recalls is laboratory animal testing. Animals are
suffering and dying in the research labs of major commercial pet food
manufacturers - please see IamsCruelty.com for some eye-
opening information about Iams.

One of the many reasons I have chosen to feed my pets Life's
Abundance Premium Health Food –
www.healthyfitpets.com - is because it is a
cruelty-free food, meaning that no laboratory animal testing is used
in its formulation or quality assurance procedures.

Life's Abundance is an all natural, human-grade food that contains no
wheat. Nor does it contain any meat by-products, corn, dairy,
artificial colors, artificial flavors, or chemical preservatives.

Life's Abundance is manufactured in an APHIS-certified USDA facility
and all products are inspected six times for human quality before it
reaches the consumer. It is formulated by Dr. Jane Bicks, a holistic
veterinarian, who has nothing but our companion animals' best
interests at heart.
