Cool

we did wean her of it but i think it was because we changed brands.
the vet has given her lactlose now but nothings happened just yet.
what do you suggest is the best thing to give her and how much as my mum thinks she only needs a little bit but me and my dad think she's burning off too much energy for what we're feeding her.

hi. My rott, TANK, was recently constipated. I tried a couple of things, noneof which worked. I found this site about Dog Constipation, that may be of interest to you. I tried canned pumpkin, but that didn't work. I ended up giving him a small bowl of Grape-Nuts Flakes, with a couple of dried prunes, and it had him going within the hour. I wish you the best of luck.

I was told by a vet that pumkin works wonders for this sort of situation!

Not sure if Grapes-Nuts Flakes work or not, but I do know that Prunes work. A vet recommended pumpkin and prunes. Of course, as MGM says, your vet always knows best. So before you listen to anyone on here, listen to your vet. Good Luck.
