Default Doggy poop!

Some of you might think talking about this is gross, but hey your picking it up everyday! (Well you should be).

Right can we learn anything about our dogs from there poops?

Lets have some examples of poop this is the poop my dog has produced over the years.

Runny - unable to pick it up!
Very Very soft
Just a normal poo curves nicely and picks up nicely.
Rock solid - she had to strain to get this beast out and it felt like a brick!
White - totally white looked like it was poo which had been pooped about 3 days ago.

Right theres my examples, so can we learn from these poops specimens? Does runny poo mean she has a bad belly? Does the Rock solid mean shes constipated?

I think this is a important subject & could help us identifiy when our dogs arn't feeling to well.

So what poo have you encountered :P

Runny - probably means she ate something that didn't agree with her, just like a human with diarrhea (I know it's a gross comparison, but it's true)
Very, Very soft - this probably happened shortly after or before the runny, right? If so it's a clue that she's having an upset tummy.
Normal Poo - just like you said, it's normal, everythings okay with her tummy
Rock Solid - probably constipated, make sure your dog gets plenty of water and fiber to prevent this.
White - I have no idea... although I had a dog with multi-colored poo once, purple, green, blue, red, turns out he had eaten some crayons. Silly dog.

Those are just my observations with our dogs through the years, other people will have different ideas and experiences.

And just for the record, I don't pick it up everyday... My daughter does every Saturday. I'd be out helping her but my husband doesn't want me picking it up while pregnant.
