Hi,
I recently purchased some worming medicine for my dogs (i have 5 cavalier king charles spaniels) and my vet told me that it was not the right stuff, especially if I am breeding!

I bought Four Seasons Anti-Parasitic from Cats & Dogs Ltd

Can anyone tell me why she would say that I need to use the chemical version because I am breeding? Does breeding make the dogs at larger risk of worms?

I feed my dogs on the BARF diet.

Thanks for the response, but I am looking for a broader approach to dog owning.

I feed a natural diet and want to complement that with a natural way to worm my animals rather than the radical chemicals that are in the wormers the vet gives me.

- I guess what I am trying to say is that my vet doesn't know it all - she isn't a homepath she hasn't studied nutrition for pets etc.

I don't trust anything blindly, not even this wormer, that is why I posted the question.
