Default Nutro?

This is probably a very common situation, but I have been trying to look for the best store bought, dry dog food out there.

So far, I've heard that Nutro and Royal Canin are pretty high up there. Right now, I feed my dogs Nutro.

The best food I've found so far would have to be Life's Abundance, but my parents said ti was too expensive : /. I suppose it's because of how nice it is and you have to order it online.

Any opinions, information, or advice? It would be much appreciated!

MGM

So Nutro isn't a bad brand to feed?
What about Royal Canin?

And thank you SO, so so so so much for all of your great help! I really appreciate it. That sounds very interesting.

Could you, if it's no problem, or someone teach me a little on how to prepare raw materials for your dog? Rocky's a 40 pound, 3-year-old border collie and Peaches is a 9-year-old, 20-pound Chinese Crested.
