I have a 5 mo old pit, Lady, she is around 20-25 lb (and growing more every day ) and loves to eat. I currently am feeding her Science Diet Puppy 1.5-2 cups, 3 times a day. But she is always hungry, always looking for food, she eats so fast. Should I be feeding her more?? I am following the instructions on the package but feel like I should feed her until she is full. PLEASE HELP ME AND MY HUNGRY PUPPY

i own four dogs myself, all from pups. i found that 3 out of the 4 couldn't get enough of their food, but you cant overfeed them. some pups don't know when to stop eating and just don't stop, you should restrict him from eating too much. also if your worried about him getting over weight, often the food you feed them can help, usually pup food helps them to gain weight.

The vet recommended science diet for both of my dogs (small bites for my terrier mix and puppy for her), and said to slowly add food until I feel I am feeding the right amount. But the thing is she is never full so I am having a hard time judging what is a good amount of food for her. She is not overweight as of right now and is very active I guess I am just worried I am underfeeding her. Thanks for the replys I am glad I am not the only one who seems to have a puppy that does not know her limit.
