Default Ringworm HELP!!!

my wire haired terrier just got diagnosed with ringworms
the problem is we have another small terrier. they both live in the house and its too cold to keep them outside
they gave us miconazole shampoo and lotion.
my question is if i put the lotion on the other dog will it be able to interact with the sick dog without contracting ringworm? they both will not quit barking and scratching at the door and if this keeps up we will be forced to get rid of them.
any help is greatly appreciated

ringworm is a skin condition which is extremely contagious - to people too. I have no idea what putting them outside would accomplish.

the shampoo is to treat the dogs skin & is not a preventative. dogs are usually contagious for about 3 weeks.

since your other dog has already been exposed to it before it was diagnosed,
I don't understand why you are not treating him also. that would seem to solve all your problems & prevent them passing it back & forth.

get rid of them????? I really don't think there's a long waiting line for dogs with ringworm
