What food do you recomend? We used to feed our dog brands like, Ol'Roy or Purina...are those alright? I don't want something that is going to not be good in the long run. I don't want to buy food that is going to cost tons and tons of money either though.

So, do you have any good recomendations?

this is a touchy subject and everyone has their own opinions. Each can make a good case for why they use the one they use. In my case after 40 plus years it came down to the fact that my dogs were always healthy and lived long lives. I therefore have never changed. I use Purina small bites senior lamb & rice. My dogs yearly health check ups have always been good. As my vet and the vet nutritionist put it, when it comes to food whatever the dog does well on is right for them. You may have to try a couple of different ones but note, I am not endorsing what I use only stating that for my dogs, this has been a great food. It could be different for you. Like people, there are some foods some can eat where others may not do well to eat it.
