Hi, my pup (11 month old beagalier named Bumbalina) lost a fight with a car and has broken bones in her foot that arent healing, we have an appt to see a specialist about a bone graft, otherwise the leg will need to be removed, Has anyone had any expirience with this procedure? We would do anything to save her leg but am quite anxious as its a few days til our appointment.
also am after some advice of keeping her occupied whilst staying off the leg. The vet has not suggested total isolation but has advised for her to not jump around or be too active. Would love some ideas ob how to keep her mentally stimulated. . . she has been in bandages for approx 3 weeks and she is starting to get frustrated!
