wow really I always thought Iams was really good. Well when we got her at 8 weeks old thats what she was being fed so we kept her on that. For her first year she got the puppy Iams and now she is on the mini chunk Iams for dogs 1 year + . Shes never had a problem with her food and shes now about a year and three months. I'm not giving her the iams food to her right now because I was told to keep it up away from her for 12-24hrs to let her system get back to normal is that right to do?

My message didn't go through the first time so sorry if it shows up twice. I've been giving her iams since we got her because thats what she was on before we got her. She was on the puppy one until she was a year just as it said to do then we just switched her about two months ago I guess to the mini chunk iams for dogd 1 year +. We have never had a problem with her food that shes on.

Ya just looked and the messages jump from 10 to 12, don't know what happened to message 11. I put her iams food up because I was told to keep it from her. Its supposed to allow her system to get back to normal. Don't think I should keep it from her for too long because she has to eat something right?

here is the mini chunks:

Chicken, Corn Meal, Ground Whole Grain Sorghum, Chicken By-Product Meal, Chicken Fat (preserved with mixed Tocopherols, a source of Vitamin E), Dried Beet Pulp, Chicken Flavor, Chicken Meal, Potassium Chloride, Dried Egg Product, Brewers Dried Yeast, Salt, Flax Meal, Fish Oil (preserved with mixed Tocopherols, a source of Vitamin E), Caramel, Calcium Carbonate, Choline Chloride, Minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Carbonate), Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin A Acetate, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Thiamine Mononitrate (source of vitamin B1), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement (source of vitamin B2), Inositol, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (source of vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid), DL-Methionine, Rosemary Extract.

"chicken" means it is about 70% water so if you remove the water the amount of actual chicken moves way down the line. chicken meal is no water

the main ingredient in this food is corn

corn, soy & wheat are known allergens. brewers dried yeast is a waste product of the beer industry & can cause yeast infections

when you rest them like that it is best to bring them back on boiled, rinsed hambg or chicken & rice, (1/3 meat) for several days divided into about 4 meals.

Ok so like tomorrow I should make the hamb and rice up for her regardless of whether or not she has diarrhea still? So 1/3 meat to about how much rice about a cup?
Also do you suggest I change her food to something other than Iams or leave her on it?
