Default Shih Zu food

I recent purchased a Shih Zu puppy (About 3 months old). We have had him for about 1 week. I am having difficulty getting him to eat. The puppy seems to just nibble. The breeder gave us puppy chow. I have tried Science Diet and Authority. The dog doesn't seem to like either. What do you recommend I feed him?

Nutro Natural Choice would be a good one! Try it!

With a pup so young, I would suggest mixing in some canned food with the dry. As for types of food, make sure you don't change too often and too quickly, as you will upset the pups tummy and then not only will you have a dog who isn't interested in eating, but a dog who is throwing up and pooping everywhere! Most breeders don't feed their dogs an "over the counter" food like dog chow or something you can buy at the grocery store, so check to make sure that the food the "breeder" gave you is actually the food they have been feeding the pup. Make sure you check with your vet as well, there may be another problem that you aren't aware of. Good luck!
