This is a pretty random question, but something I'm curious about . My dog (a boarder collie/spaniel mix) froths at the nose when she's excited or exercising heavily. Not at the mouth...just the nose. Is this normal?? I've never seen it before.

Weird..froths at the nose??? when excited...I don't think its normal because this is my first time to encounter such things....Anyway asked your vet why this things happened to your dog....

Could she be licking her nose, and what your seeing is slobber? Or is it actually coming out of her nose?

I don't think she's licking it. There's not a whole lot of froth, just enough to line the fur around her nostrils. Very odd...
