Question Head Lump advice please...

Hi, can someone please give me some advice or calm me down. I've just stroked my dogs head and there is a large lump, really hard in the middle at the back. It almost seems like a protusion of his skull. I had a feel and he did pull away from me slightly so wondering if he has banged his head or something. It is very noticable....and it wasn't there earlier!
I will take him to the vets first thing tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone has come across this before.
Many thanks

More than likely it's the natural formation on the skull. But always best to take to a vet- better safe than sorry.

My Hera has a small lump under her belly. It has been there for years. It is a fibroma. It will take a minor operation to remove it BUT the narcosis involved in the operation might be lethal for any aged dog.
It is my vet's advice to just let it be.
Dogs and people don't take very well to narcosis
