Question Dog with bacterial infection

I have a small terrier mix who has had loose stools for 4 days. I took her to the vet today and they told me she had a bacterial infection and placed her on 5 days of oral antibiotics. She has not eaten any dog food since Friday and is drinking minimal water. Most recently (about 30 minutes ago) she began to have bright red blood in her stools. I called the vet and they told me to continue to monitor her and should it not improve tomorrow, then come back in. They also told me to feed her chicken and rice. I am wondering if feeding her is really a good idea?? She is already using the bathroom about every 30 minutes and I am afraid the rice will just increase the amount of loose stools and possibly cause worsening deydration?

No, chicken and rice are best nutrition and antidiarhea diet. Please follow your doctors' advice and be less anxious, thou I know how you feel....
