Default Scared of what the vet will say

My fiance has a black lab she turned 13 this past Feb. In late Feb this year we woke up to her not being able to walk and her head was tilted to one side, this was a Sunday, we had to carry her out to the bathroom and towel walk her as well as help her eat. I have seen my fiance cry once in the 6 yrs that we have been dating and this was the worst. We took her to the vet Mon and they kept her for about week and she ended having vestibular disease. They said that she would be fine. In about 2 weeks she was fine and seem to be back to normal. But now she is using the bathroom (poop) on her bed and around the living room without having anything to eat that day, she seems to have lost some weight, she sometimes has problems with her back legs (seems to be like that since Feb, but is on & off) Dispite all this she still has amazing energy which throws me off a bit. We have an appt in 2 weeks (due to the vet being out) and they told us it was not important to come in earlier. I am just so scared that we are going to take her in and they tell us that we have to put her down. I realize if the vets tells us what needs to be done we will not hesitate because we would not be selfish and make her suffer. What could it be

Sorry to hear this.

13 years is a great run for any dog. Especially when it's blessed and fortunate enough to find a home with devoted humans as you and your fiance. Let this be a good feeling for you. ♥ And if the time comes to let her go and cross the rainbow bridge, have comfort in knowing she's had a good life and any pain suffered is no more.

I have lost pets and it's heart breaking. But the question I always asked myself was, "Will my dog have a quality life?".. My thoughts are with you and hope there's a bright light at the end of this dark tunnel you are traveling. ♥
