I am really sorry to say this and I know that you love your animal but your dog NEEDS to go to the vet.. someone who knows what to look for. And I hate to say it but if you cannot afford to take the dog to a proper vet then you have no business owning an animal. It's not fair to both you and your animal. Do what you need to do, find him a new home or take him to the vet.

I hope everything turns out alright, and that you can get to the vet to be looked over.

Dogs, even puppies, have the tendency to "lay low" and act as if nothing had happened because of their instincts. If they were to start making too much of a fuss of things in the wild another animal could take advantage of the situation and attack them.

It sounds like he is doing fine bouncing around the house, but only a veterinarian will be able to tell for sure.
