There are a lot of different options; you could give your dog a supplement such as Nutro Joint Support, or 'Joint Rescue' chewables. But if you think it may be arthritis then you can use an arthritis cream like "Old Bones' or a herbal supplement like 'Old Timer'. I've used Nutro Joint Support for my Boerboel as well as the cream. They have worked very well.

Here is the link to where I bought them from: Dog Arthritis Pain Medication for Canine Joint Support

I use Glyco-flex and while I have tried other things I just keep going back to it. I start my dogs on Glyco-Flex Stage 1 when they are about 5 months old. Adult dogs are on Glyco-flex 2 and my 3.5 year old male with bad hips is on Glyco-flex 3. Each time I have tried them on other things, he starts to limp again but with this he is good to go, running hunt tests and showing no signs of his bad hips!

Yeah, I know Glyco-flex is really good for growing and matured dogs. Consistent intake of this helps the dogs maintain healthy joints.
