Default Dog poops, walks, poops

We just got an about 1 year old dog from the pound last month. She does soft poops, walks a bit, does a drop, walks some more, does another drop or two. Why? She is healthy and happy and not overfed but she still does these soft stools and the walking thing. We are feeding her Nutro chicken.
Help!

We have a Miniature Pinscher and she walks and poops at the same time. But not like you said your Miniature Pinscher is doing. You might want to try changing your dogs food, but make sure you take the old food out slowly.

We feed our Chihuahua and Miniature Pinscher Blue Buffalo Small Breeds. It's the pink bag. They poop less with this because there are no fillers in Blue Buffalo food. Nutro also does not have any fillers. Do you give him any treats that may be making his poop soft?

My lab mix also does the same thing with walking and pooping, doesn't matter if it's soft or hard. lol i guess some dogs just like to keep moving lol But to help with that part changing the diet slowly may help

I also think that there's something wrong with the food. Try to change his diet or try different food one at a time until you find what's good for him.

Before you do anything have your dog checked by a vet. Soft stools could be diet related, but also could have other, medical causes. Even intestinal parasites. And the walking could be because of a back injury or hip injury which makes squatting in one place uncomfortable.

Soft stool can be caused by many things like diet, digestion, etc. The best thing to do is bring a sample of the stool to your veterinarian for a fecal analysis.
