Default Bumps on German Shepherds head

I have a 1 year old German Shepherd who has developed cyst-like bumps on his head (3 of them). They don't seem to cause him any pain at all, and there's no hair loss on them or anything. I've read that sometimes large breed dogs get theses and they're harmless. Has anyone else experienced this with their large dogs? I'd like to avoid going to the vet at this point (if it's unnecessary) because he was just there a few weeks ago for his heartworm test and it was fairly traumatic for him.

No one, not even a vet, can diagnose what type of bumps your dog has, and determine if they're anything to be worried about, without actually seeing your dog. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

Vetgroomers right, it could be anything right now. I would worry about it to much unless they are getting bigger.

My puppy got a lump and it was only a fatty tumor they aspirated when she got spayed. I would just check to be safe- if the dog is that freaked out then you can ask the vet to look at the dog outside (sometimes it less traumatic) and or give you a sedative to help the dog relax- keep us posted!!
