Default balding bulldog

I have an english bulldog. 1 1/2 yrs old. She has been shedding like crazy. She has bald spots all over her and when we brush her, it is like brushing a goldon retriever. She loses so much hair. She ahs been tested for parasites and ringworm, both negative. The vet has not given us any info to help us. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Please help us.

It could be related to her food but its hard to tell... You should probably take her to the vet....

What kind of food do you feed her?

My first guess would be diet or some type of mange. If you vet see's no signs of mange, parasites, etc. then lets look at diet: What do you feed?

Also is she spayed?

check diet first, then check what you wash his bedding with, and dog shampoos you may have used that are all new.

had a dog years ago that was allergic to my laundry detergent and same thing happened. lost hair . had to change detergents for her. had a puppy as a kid that died of a bad reaction to some dog shampoo ( the pup was like 8 months). but they have so many brands out now you need to be careful.

but def look into the diet. some dogs do that with wheat / eggs and some dogs have that problem with certain by products in dog food

I am not sure if there is a test out and how much it costs to have a food allergy test done. may be something you can ask your vet
