Beau is Sick
We rescued Beau ( a Lab-Newfoundland Mix - 68 pounds ) a year ago and since then, after lots of tests, found out that he has Follicular Displaysia - a rare skin condition that disables the hair from growing back. With that, he will be susceptible to other skin conditions, like dog "acne" around his muzzle - things like that.
Just this morning, when my boyfriend let him out to pee, (Beau is kennel trained for nighttime) - he was slow to go and he usually shoots out of there and bounds up the steps. As soon as he got outside, he threw up. The throw-up looked like frothy milk. Ted went to feed him and he wouldn't eat at all and he just went and layed down. He kept drooling, so Ted kept putting him outside and each time Beau would throw up. The last time Ted went to put him out, he pulled his collar around to hook the leash on him - and his collar his very loose, Beau squealed.
We have an emergency vet appointment in an hour and I just wanted some feedback as to what it could be.
Thanks from a worried "mom".

Not an expert, but will give a few thoughts---Is Beau on any meds that are powerful (esp. for his condition you mentioned) I hope not rimadyl or others.
If on something---how long? Did he eat well night before---drinking water?
Could he have eaten something you didn't know about? Is he walking (moving) normally? In any pain? Maybe it is only an upset tummy? Hope it is nothing too serious. Wish you luck. Let us know what is happening--worry about dogs--all dogs!
