My beloved dog Cooper has been diagnosed with a tumour on his spine which is inoperable due to the position of it being between his disc and vertebrae. His nerves are being compressed which is causing him a lot of pain. The tumour needs to be treated with Radiation and/or Chemotherapy. The tumour is called Multiple Myeloma Tumour.
Cooper is 6 yrs old, I found him on the internet. A lady had picked him up from the pound as he was going to be put to sleep, she couldn’t keep him very long and I choose to have him in my life. He has been very well looked after and he is my best friend.
This sort of therapy for Cooper is going to cost around $5000 or more. The vet bill is already up to $2,509
A bank account through BANK WEST is in the process of being set up, this account will allow people that ARE NOT in Australia to deposit money into it for Cooper if you would like to. To do this you will need the SWIFT number to put the money in. I will def let you all know when the account is ready which will be sometime next week, most likely Friday 15th May, maybe earlier.
MSG ME FOR DETAILS.
I will also be holding some sort of event for him at my home once organised to raise money too, this will include an entry fee, maybe a raffle, auction or something once we have decided we will let people know.
If the treatment isn’t gone ahead with, he could only have 2-3 months to live, with treatment his life expectancy can hopefully be improved by longer and his quality of life also heightened.
There is also another option of NO-Cbl treatment which is being trialled in a month or so time and they have had FANTASTIC sucsess with dog that have inoprerable tumours, so if the Radiation/Chemo dont work, there is always a second option!!
Cooper is my boy, Max's best friend and apart of the family, I cannot let anything happen to him and will do ANYTHING I can to help him.
The treatment will hopefully reduce the tumour and make him better, it might work, it might not, but it’s the risk you take for someone you love. I am willing to do anything for him, but with the help of you guys, we could save him!!
I found this site through google and maybe I could talk to people that have been through dog cancer/tumours before. This was a MASSIVE shock to me as Cooper was such a happy healthy little boy my best mate ever, and when he started hurting when i pcked him up i knew there was something wrong..
After paying out $800 on medications, because the normal vet misdiagnoised him twice i was very upset and shocked to hear that it was a tumour! After they performed CT Scan , biopsy and myelogram at the Specialists in Melbourne.
Please help

I am VERY distressed and I wont let Cooper die
