Hello every Bailey, Lucy-Lu and I are new here but...before I introduce us.....
Today I got a scare! My cockapoo Bailey has been itching like crazy for weeks and I have been doing everything I could for her - animal anti itch sprays, Allergy food and Benedryll. Still, nothing has worked so, today I took her to the vet. I felt just awful! Not to mention that I just had dental surgary yesterday but, now I found out that one of my poor babies that I love so much is very sick! She has an infection in her ears, a high fever of 103 or 104 (I forgot which but, I think it was 103) and an infection in her body that they don't know where it is coming from. Plus, the itching on her is terribly bad and she has a bald spot on her back. They decided they wanted to check to see if one of her internal body organs is infected and all of this scares me so much! So, if you want to send any prayers, good wishes or even similar stories to Bailey and I we would like that a lot. Thanks everyone.

Oh Dear Bailey, I hope you feel better soon... My Prayer's are on the way...
Can I ask what you feed Bailey? Can you get any raw meat into her such as raw ground hamburger, turkey or chicken? Itching usually not alway's, but usually come's from something in the pet food.
Please let us know how she is doing...

Well, I think Bailey is feeling a bit better and "the girls" and I did an introduction post if you would like to get to know us better. As far as Bailey feeling sick, well, she isn't itching quite as much and her body isn't as warm as it was before. She is on three different medications so, I guess they are working. I did get quite the call today...the vet called and said that through testing they found out Bailey has a low to normal Thyroid and will need that to be checked on every few months. This just isn't Bail's week!
