I have always bought Natural Balance products because it used to be 100% made in the USA. We used the Potato & Duck dry foods. Now all literature that indicated this has been removed from their web site and packaging. The bag now says it was MANUFACTURED FOR the company in the USA. It's a tricky way to say "Made in China" if you asked me.

We had a huge bag that took us months to go through. The next bag we opened, one of our dogs wouldn't touch and the other ate it all then threw it up. Perplexed, we switched to rice and chicken. Both dogs were fine. We then tried to switch back to the Natural Balance without success.

I wrote the company and they confirmed that they had a problem getting duck meal in the United States. Inquires asking where the product is made and where the ingredients come from went unanswered.

We have since switched to California Natural and the results have been great.

I hope this information helps other people that may have issues with the Natural Balance product.
