Cool What Does Your Vet Feed His own Dog(s)??

This could be very interesting to say the least!? I am going to paste here what I had put in another thread and give the subject more 'coverage' (And thanks Lara's Mom for letting me know that this would be a good idea!) Here it is: What do they feed their own dogs? (The vets). After asking you that question--I got to thinking that it would be a good question for everybody to ask their own vet!! Just to put them on the spot---The real question is-- Do you feed your own dogs the 'stuff' you sell!!?? And then hope they answer honestly! If they say they don't feed what they sell--I think I'd be looking for another vet for sure. The only thing is I'd be feeling sorry for their dogs if they did feed what they sell! Actually whatever answer they gave---I'd lose respect for them either way! All I can say--I wish I had a holistic vet near here because I'd pick him any day. And a vet that doesn't sell dog food would be my 2nd choice, that is if there is such a vet!! Don't 'you all' think it would tell you a lot about what kind of vet you have!--to have them answer this question!!? Hope we see a lot of feedback on this question!:!::?:

Both of my girls have different Vets because Bailey spends time with a step mom and we found her vet close to her and don't want to make a change because she's been taking care of Bailey for 12 years.

I already knew that Lara's Doctors partner home cooked for his pack of dogs. However, I wasn't sure about Bailey's Doctor so, I called her and asked her. She also home cooks for her two dogs.

I asked both if they'd ever consider recommending the BARF diet and both said NO in no uncertain terms. (Sorry, Corky/Max).

They both sell Medi-Cal but only for certain conditions and, only for a specified amount of time depending on whatever illness a pet has. They both believe in homemade food as the best choice for healthy dogs.

My vet feeds his dogs Wellness brand food because a couple of them have specific food allergies.
