Default puppy poo

just in the past 6 hours my puppy started to get the runs. he pees very little and has very runny poo. i know earlier he got into some stail water that was next to my garden and i was thinking it was because of that. i've kept him in his indoor pen with plenty of fresh water and gave him a little dry kibble.

the water was in a tin that i had been using for a slug trap. it used to have stail beer but we've had a few rain showers with heavyrain and my bf has dumped it out when he mowed but it still had some water with grass clippings in it.

as soon as i heard the lil slurp of water coming from the wrong area i grabbed him and dumped out the remainding water and lead him by the fresh water on the other side of the sidewalk (which was just a few feet away)

im just wonding if this will pass on its own or when i should take him in?

the things my new puppy gets into are no where the same like my older one did when he was a puppy lol

ok an update:

he's peeing alot more and his poo seems to be getting a little thicker.

im watching him drink water too keep hydrated and been letting him use the potty when he wakes up in his kennel.

good thing im used to staying up all night, helps to keep an eye on him.

Rice cooked in chicken stock and fed for 24 hours usually helps with loose stools.
