Hello, my name is Molly and I was just curious to see if anyone has dealt with a dog who has arthritis? My chihuahua Fred is 6 years old and a little on the heavy side (about 9 lbs which is a pretty large size for him) and has been limping around the house and seems to be sore. It getting hard on him to walk, however it seems someday's are worse then others. Does anyone have any suggestions on remedies or products to help with this situation?

First of all, I'd do something about his weight. Excess weight stresses the joints. Try glucosamine for the arthritis.

My dog has arthritis. The vet has her on ascriptin and Phycox.

What is MSM?

MSM is methylsuphonylmethane. It's a sulfur compound.
